The Eating Disorders Action Group is a community based, charitable organization dedicated to promoting healthy body image and self esteem and to supporting individuals who experience disordered eating.

EDAG takes a community development approach to the issue of disordered eating, focusing on health promotion, advocacy, education, support and prevention. A variety of services and programs are offered which include a peer support group, educational workshops and presentations on disordered eating and related issues, a resource centre equipped with a resource lending library and volunteer opportunities.

As a grass roots organization, EDAG believes in building on the unique strengths, capacities and abilities of people who have experienced disordered eating.
